Delete your eTROC account
How to delete your account and personal data from eTROC — the eTROC app on Google Play and the App Store, and etroc.app. You can do it at any time in the app, on the website, or by email.
Last updated 13 October 2026
1. Delete your account in the eTROC app (Android or iPhone)
- Open the eTROC app and sign in.
- Tap the Account tab.
- Open Privacy & security.
- Tap Delete account, type your account email (and your password if you have one) to confirm.
- Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.
2. Delete your account on the website
- Sign in at etroc.app/account.
- Go to Data & privacy. You can download a copy of your data there first.
- Click Delete account and confirm with your email (and password if you have one).
3. Can't sign in? Ask us by email
Send an email to [email protected] from the address registered on your eTROC account with the subject “Delete my eTROC account”. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner. We confirm by email when it is done.
4. What is deleted
- Account and profile — email, name, password hash, account type, home area and search radius, preferences, sign-in sessions and Google or Facebook sign-in links.
- Listings and photos — every listing you posted and the photos you uploaded.
- Activity — saved items, swipes, offers, alerts, matches, notifications and your taste profile.
- Messages — your conversations with buyers and sellers on eTROC, including the messages you sent.
- eTROC agent — your agent chat history and memory, and the WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, RCS and Gmail connections you linked.
- Device data — push notification tokens and email preferences.
- Business team — if you own a Business account, the team is closed; teammates keep their own personal accounts.
5. What is kept, and for how long
- Database backups — encrypted backups that may still contain your data are overwritten automatically within 30 days. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
- Legal and safety records — only where the law requires it, or to resolve an open dispute or fraud report, we keep the minimum records needed, for no longer than required (at most 12 months unless a legal obligation says otherwise).
- Aggregated statistics — counts that no longer identify you (for example, how many listings were posted in a city). Analytics collected with your consent expire after up to 14 months.
- Messages outside eTROC — copies of agent messages already delivered to your WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, RCS or email inbox stay in those apps; delete them there.
